    How To Boost Your Metabolism

Metabolism is an important factor in losing or gaining weight, it's the driving point for weight loss.  Metabolism is a very big thing, it's the rate at which your body burns calories you get from what you eat to energy &  power to do anything in your life.
There are several factors that affect your metabolism such as muscle mass, sex, genetics, stress, age & body type. Finding a way to boost your fat-burning power will be perfect to lose weight.

Here are some natural ways that can get your metabolism a natural boost:

1. Eat a Balanced Breakfast:

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it means getting an early boost in your nutrients to jumpstart your metabolism.
while you are sleeping all night, your metabolism slows down which means that you are not burning calories.
your breakfast must contain all what your body needs from protein, carbohydrates, fibers & fats.

2. Drink more Water

You all know how much water is important to our health but you don't realize it's importance in losing weight & boosting our metabolism. Water flushes out toxins produced from the body whenever it burns fat. It's advised that you should increase your daily water consumption to 2-2.5 liters, if you find it difficult to keep that consumption, you can add some flavors to your water like lemon or mint

3. Move your body every day

When you do resistance training, your body builds muscles which in return increases metabolic rate.
During exercising either by running, swimming, or biking, your body takes more oxygen which gives your cells the power to burn more energy.

4. Get more sleep

lack of good quality sleep causes metabolic problems & it also causes the body to releases a hormone which makes you feel more hungry. It makes your body burn fewer calories and to experience an increase in cortisol levels, which stores fat in the body.

5. Eating enough calories

Skipping meals will not help you in losing weight, however, it will slow down your metabolism & will make your body lose muscle mass. when you decrease your calorie intake, your metabolism thinks that you are starving it so, it slows down its rate & conserves the fuel that it received.

6. Eat more proteins

Proteins take a longer time to break down or digest than other types of food, so you end up feeling full for a longer time. It increases the meal calorie burn by 5%.

7. Reduce stress

Stress causes the body to produce more cortisol than the normal amount which affects the body's hormone levels. Abnormal cortisol levels lead to eating disorders because it's a hormone that regulates the body's appetite.
Stress causes us to choose unhealthy eating patterns, foods that we crave when we are stressed are sugary & fatty types of foods.
